Location: Birmingham Vintage Cycles, 2410 Valleydale Road, Birmingham
Restoring Dreams: both lives and machines
Birmingham Vintage Cycles exists to restore dreams… to bring vintage bikes—and the memories they carry—back to life. This dream began in 1971 when a 14 year old boy turned his paper route earnings into a “Yamaha 175.” Today Birmingham Vintage Cycle has grown into an impressive collection of bikes and a collective of memories shared around a showroom and a restoration shop where both bikes and memories are restored to life.
The best part of our unique nostalgic space is gathering community to share hot food, cold drinks and tall tales of men and their magnificent machines and dreams.
This Fall, we are proud to partner with the Adoption and Foster Care Clinic to celebrate a different kind of restoration: the lives of children who are given new beginnings through foster care and adoption.
What to Expect:
· A delicious casual BBQ dinner with cold drinks and warm conversations
· A showcase of beautifully restored vintage bikes, each with a story
· Inspiring tales of hope and transformation from both the vintage motorcycle world and the Adoption and Foster Care Clinic
· Opportunities to support the Adoption and Foster Care Clinic, to ensure every adoptive family has access to the trauma-informed, family- focused, and life changing resources they need.
Together, we’ll honor the beauty of second chances, whether it's a bike brought back to life or a child finding a forever family.
